OFFICE DEVELOPMENT - GAVIN CONSTRUCTIONS Corner Lord Street & Newcastle Street, Northbridge
The project is 2 x four storey buildings built side by side with one having insitu suspended slabs and the other with Bondtek floor systems, due to weight restrictions over the Northbridge tunnel.
The suspended slabs covered an area of 1800m² per floor and were formed in a very short time frame of 10 days.
MONET APARTMENTS - PYRAMID CONSTRUCTIONS South Perth
Monet Apartments are an 8 storey block of luxury apartments located near the South Perth foreshore. The floors are all insitu concrete, conventionally formed, with curved insitu concrete walls.
Perth Arena is a new indoor sporting and entertainment arena located on Wellington Street in the city centre of Perth, Western Australia.
Designed to seat up to 13 500 people for sporting events and a maximum of 15 000 for concerts.
Total concrete for the project is in excess of 45 000m³.
Concrete pours have been as large as 1560m³ in one day, with most concrete pours of more than 500m³ beginning at 2am, for better concrete supply and not to impede on other trades during the day.
THE MOORINGS - KEYTOWN The Palladio, Mandurah
The Moorings is a 7 storey building with 40 luxury apartments, jetty, boardwalk, restaurant and retail.
The project covers approximately 3000m² of floor space per floor.
Jump form was used for lift shafts and stairwells and conventional formwork for the decks due to numerous beams and step-downs.
